[ About Me ] 

Born and raised in China mainland, Xueying Chang is an award-winning photographer and photo editor at CNN. Her personal work focuses on family relationships, population aging, immigration and marginalized groups. Through her art practice and research in visual storytelling, she has been exploring what defines her and what makes her human. Prior to CNN, she worked at NPR and Smithsonian Institution. Chang is currently based in Washington, DC, and she is also a writer and video producer.
